Ghanian Peanut Brittle
INGREDIENTS:
150 g peeled peanuts
150 g sugar
30 g butter
PREPARATION:
Crush the peanuts in a steel mortar.
Melt the sugar until you get a light caramel. Add the butter and stir until the mixture is homogeneous. Remove from the heat and add the crushed peanuts. Stir and pour the mixture while it’s still warm onto a sheet of baking paper. Put another sheet of baking paper onto it and knead the mixture so that it is 5-8 mm thick. Cut it into pieces.
Once they have chilled they are ready for serving.
