INGREDIENTS:
For the meatballs:
400 g beef mince
1 onion head
2 garlic cloves
1 egg
3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon coriander
salt
parsley
flour for dredging of the meatballs

10 small peppers
10-12 cherry tomatoes
5-6 potatoes
sunflower oil for frying
fresh parsley

For the tomato sauce:
2-3 tablespoons sunflower oil
1 tablespoon tomato puree
400 g grated tomatoes (fresh or canned)
1 tablespoon paprika
1 ½ – 2 cups water
salt to taste

1 cup = 250 ml

PREPARATION:
Meatballs
Cut the onion and garlic into fine pieces. Mix them with the mince and add the egg, breadcrumbs, finely cut parsley, cumin, coriander, black pepper and salt. Mix them and create long-shaped meatballs. Dredge them into the flour and fry in a little sunflower oil until they brown from all sides.

Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into long pieces. Season with salt and fry until they brown a little.

Tomato sauce
Blend the grated tomatoes, sunflower oil, tomato puree, paprika, water and salt together. Beat until they combine.

Pour the sauce into a rectangular baking tray (20 x 32 cm). Place a meatball, followed by two potato pieces. Continue doing it until the tray is filled. Decorate with peppers and cherry tomatoes.
