Royal armenian pudding with nuts

INGREDIENTS:
500 ml + 3-4 tablespoons milk
240 g ground nuts (equal quantities of hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, pistachio or others)
140 g sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon starch

For decoration:
whipped cream or whisked egg whites with sugar
fruits

PREPARATION:
Put the nuts, butter, sugar and milk (500 ml) in a saucepan. Boil over low heat for 20 minutes. Combine the starch with the remaining milk (3-4 tablespoons) and add it to the boiling milk while stirring continuously until the pudding thickens. Remove from the heat and pour it into bowls. Decorate either with whipped cream with fruits or whisked egg whites with sugar.
