1 ½ cup ketchup
1/3 cup brown sugar
½ cup water
¼ cup pekmez (molasses-like syrup)
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon chili
1 cup = 250 ml
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a saucepan, bring the mixture to a boil and cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes with an occasional stir.
Leave it to chill.
You can keep the sauce in a closed jar for a long time in the fridge.
